Occasionally you may need to re-authenticate your linked financial institution with Plaid. This can happen for a number of reasons. For example, if your password changes or Plaid encounters a multi-factor authentication prompt it cannot resolve without your input.
Fortunately re-authenticating is fairly straight forward. If you are experiencing an authentication error, on the dashboard you’ll see a card at the top titled “Update credentials”. Tap the “Update” button next to your institution and then go through the authentication flow to restore the connection and continue syncing transactions.
