With this release, every time you begin a new budgeting week in Weekly, you’ll be greeted with a quick, thoughtful summary of how your previous week went. Whether you crushed your goals or noticed some habits to tweak, this new screen gives you meaningful insights to help you move forward with confidence.
📈 Highlights from Your Week
The Week in Review is designed to be both motivating and informative, with three key sections:
🏆 Wins
Celebrate the good stuff! In the Wins section, you’ll see things like:
- Ending the week with a positive Safe-to-Spend balance
- Bills paid during the week
- The money you saved to your funds.
- Your current budgeting streak (because consistency is worth cheering for!)
- You spent less than your Weekly Spending Limit.
- You spent less than the previous week.
👀 Things to Keep an Eye On
We all have weeks where things don’t go quite to plan. This section helps you spot areas that might need a little attention, such as:
- Ending the week with a negative Safe-to-Spend balance
- You overspent your Weekly Spending Limit
- Withdrew more than you saved in your funds
- Spent more than the previous week
It’s not about shame—it’s about awareness. Knowing where things slipped gives you the power to course-correct.
💸 Safe-to-Spend Insights
This section offers a quick peek into your spending habits, including:
- Your largest purchase of the week
- The category where you spent the most
These little nuggets of data can help you spot trends and make more intentional choices moving forward.
Looking Back Even Further
Don’t stop at reviewing your current week — if you would like to see the week in review for any past week in Weekly you can! Just tap the calendar icon at the top of the screen and tap on a past week. Under that week you will see a banner that says “This week is over / View Insights”. Tap “View Insights” and you can see the summary for any past week.
We designed the Week in Review screen to turn the end of your budgeting week into a moment of reflection and momentum. It’s part accountability partner, part cheerleader—and we hope it makes the Weekly experience even more rewarding.
