Budgeting isn’t always perfect. Vacations happen. Life gets busy. Sometimes we forget to track spending for a week (or two). Until now, that meant a gap in your Weekly history — making your reports less accurate and leaving you with an incomplete picture of your progress.
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new feature that fixes this: Fill in Skipped Weeks.
Why this matters
Weekly works best when you have a consistent record of your spending. Each week builds on the last — so if a week is missing, your Safe-to-Spend and trend reports may not tell the full story. With this new feature, you can go back and add weeks you missed, keeping your history accurate and your insights meaningful.
How it works
-
If you skipped a week, you’ll now see it marked as “Skipped” on your dashboard.
-
Tap it, and you’ll have the option to Create Week.
-
Weekly will restore that week with your usual spending limit, and you can choose whether to roll over unused amounts.
Great for new users too
Just getting started? You can also backfill previous weeks when setting up your account. This way, you don’t start with a blank slate — you start with a few weeks of history, which makes your insights stronger right from the beginning.
A smoother path forward
Budgeting is about building confidence week by week. With Fill in Skipped Weeks, you can stay on track, keep your history complete, and get insights that truly reflect your financial progress.
